1. Wealth Out of Waste 3.0 (WoW’25) @ SRMIST — A Mission LiFE Initiative
The SRM
Green Club, in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering,
SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), and the Institution
of Engineers (India), successfully organized the 3rd Edition of Wealth
Out of Waste (WoW’25) on 16 September 2025 at the Mechanical Hangar,
Main Campus, under the theme of Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment).
The event embodied
the spirit of Mission LiFE by inspiring students to adopt sustainable
lifestyles through the creative reuse of discarded materials. Participants from
various disciplines showcased their commitment to environmental responsibility
by transforming waste into innovative and functional prototypes,
demonstrating how sustainability and innovation can go hand in hand.
The SRM Green
Club emphasized the importance of everyday eco-conscious actions that align
with Mission LiFE’s core principles — Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
Through this initiative, the club encouraged the campus community to rethink
consumption patterns, minimize waste generation, and adopt green habits in
their daily lives.
Wealth Out of
Waste 3.0 (WoW’25) stood as a testament to SRMIST’s dedication to fostering a
culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship — turning awareness
