Distribution of COVID 19 Relief material, Nattarasampattu Village
SRM group of Institutions, under the patronage of its Founder Chancellor and Perambalur MP Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar today distributed 1000 packets of relief materials containing rice, wheat, dhal and other groceries worth Rs.5 lakhs to the needy people of its 8 UBA adopted villages through the Chengalpattu district administration.
3rd Phase work
Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan SRM Institute of Science and Technology provided COVID 19 Relief materials to needy people in Nattarasampattu Village on 02.05.2020. 4kgs of Rice has been provided to 315 households in the Nattrasampattu village.
Dr. V.Thirumurugan, UBA Nodal officer along with Nattarasampattu middle school H.M Mr. Chakrapani and Pancahyat functionaries of Nattarasampattu village Mr. Seetharaman and Mr.Vedagiri has distributed the relief materials to the people.
We also distributed protective face mask to the villagers.

2nd Phase work
Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan SRM Institute of Science and Technology provided COVID 19 Relief materials to needy people in Pattaravakkam Village on 01.05.2020. Set of 18 provisional items includes Rice, sugar, oil, masala powder, etc has been provided to 100 households in the village.
Under the auspices of UBA,the centrally sponsored project, SRMIST has distributed relief materials to the people of Pattaravakkam village ,who lost their income due to lockdown. In the context of lockdown to contain the spread of COVID19,the state/ central Governments have requested the people/organisations to get United and help the poor ,who have no source of income. SRMIST,which has been doing all kinds of assistance in the adopted villages,with the patronage of its founder Chancellor Dr.T.R.Paarivendhar has distributed 100 pockets of relief materials each worth Rs.500 to the people ,who lost their livelihoods in view of lockdown. At an event held at Pattaravakkam village today,Dr.V.Thirumurugan, Associate Director(Campus life) and Nodal officer-UBA distributed the assistance to the beneficiaries. He also informed that the assistance would continue in other UBA adopted villages also from tomorrow. Mr.Chandrasekar Headmaster,PU school,Mr.Manivannan, Panchayat Assistant and Mr.Karthik participated in the event.
