Drive at SRM University Lake – Potheri: A Mission LiFE Initiative
On 14 September 2025, the SRM
Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), in association with Unnat
Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the SRM Green Club, successfully organized
a Cleaning Drive along the SRM University Lake Road and surrounding
areas as part of the Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
initiative.
The drive aimed to inspire
sustainable action and environmental responsibility among students and faculty
by encouraging collective participation in maintaining a clean and healthy
ecosystem. Volunteers actively engaged in removing waste, restoring the lake
surroundings, and raising awareness about the importance of
individual and community efforts in environmental conservation.
We extend heartfelt appreciation to
all faculty members and student volunteers who dedicated their time and
energy to this meaningful cause. Their efforts reflect the true spirit of Mission
LiFE — proving that small, consistent actions can create a significant
impact when pursued together.

building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable campus, one action at
