Inauguration of Village Service Programme (VSP) at Anjur Village

 Dear Sir/ Madam,

Greetings.

The World Community Service Centre (WCSC), with the support of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), is implementing the Village Service Programme (VSP) at Anjur Village, an adopted village under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) of SRMIST.

As part of this initiative, a Village Service Centre is being established at Anjur Village, where free Simplified Kundalini Yoga (SKY) training and value-based programmes will be conducted continuously for one year, with full support from SRMIST. The programme, based on the ideals of Vethathiri Maharishi, aims at holistic physical, mental, moral, and social well-being.

In addition, SRMIST is sponsoring vocational skill development, including tailoring training with five (5) tailoring machines provided for village use. Separate male and female trainers will reside in the village to ensure inclusive, effective, and continuous training. Special health and awareness camps will also be organized.

The overall objective of the programme is to transform Anjur Village into a Healthy, Skilled, and Peaceful Village.
