She clearly discussed all the parts of the question paper and grammar elements so that they can easily answer and score higher marks without fear. Kovil Government Higher Secondary School. The event aimed to create a platform for rural women entrepreneurs to come together, share their experiences, and discuss challenges and opportunities in their businesses. The event was attended by rural women entrepreneurs from different parts of the district. The attendees were from various fields such as textiles and food processing. They also showcased their various items, such as handicrafts, textiles, food processing, etc. At last, pictures were taken of these amazing women. The Rural Women Entrepreneur Meet was a great success. It provided a platform for rural women entrepreneurs to come together, share their experiences, and learn from each other. As per the plan the program started with a wonderful inaugural session in the presence of SRMIST faculties, students and School headmaster. After the inauguration drawing completion was started for the students of class 7^th, 8^th and 9^th. Students registered for competition was arranged in 3 classrooms and given with the topics – global warming, Nature and future India. Students showcased their talent with their beautiful thought process and after the drawing they are provided with quiz questions and asked to fill the sheets and our students from SRMIST done hand paintings for the interested students and they enjoyed getting their hands painted with their favorite wordings and also cartoon characters. My India Village Visit-II Cleaning and Painting Government School – Venbakkam 02.03.2024

<p> </p><p></p><p style="line-height: 115%; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN">SRM Institute of Science and Technology, under the collage of science and humanities students for second-year BS and BSc Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics students, along with faculty members, visited the Government School of Kolathur-Vembakkam village, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu. Students Contributed their service by cleaning and painting the classroom walls and also the compound wall of the school. They started with the cleaning process of whole school and its compound then after that they painted the walls. Students engaged in the societal activity very enthusiastically. <p> <span style="background-color: white; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;">In a concerted effort to foster rural development and bridge the urban-rural divide, SRM University recently hosted a two-day census survey as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan initiative. This nationwide campaign aims to empower rural communities through various developmental interventions and knowledge exchange programs.</span></p><p style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px; margin-bottom: 1rem; margin-top: 0px;">The survey, conducted on 14 ,February,2024 and 15, February ,2024 , saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and volunteers who embarked on a mission to gather vital data and insights into the socio- economic conditions of nearby rural areas.The survey teams traversed through soonambedu to engage with local residents and document key information pertaining to infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and other essential aspects of rural life.Through structured questionnaires and interactive sessions, the surveyors interacted with villagers to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations. The data collected during this comprehensive exercise will serve as a crucial foundation for designing tailored interventions and sustainable development projects aimed at uplifting rural communities. Speaking about the significance of the initiative, Department of Teachers' education and research emphasized the university's commitment to societal welfare and its role as a catalyst for positive change. The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan aligns perfectly with our institution's ethos of serving the community and fostering inclusive growth. The survey revealed significant gaps in infrastructure, particularly in terms of roads, electricity, and sanitation facilities. Agriculture was found to be the primary source of livelihood for the majority of rural households.Many were employed in 100 days labour work. People were suffering from mosquitoes due to the presence of stagnant water. The successful execution of the census survey underscores SRM University's dedication to promotingg social responsibility and driving meaningful development beyond its campus borders. By 1:30 we have covered almost all the households of the village and people got benefitted with the camp and showed their gratitude towards the doctors and health professionals. Visitors from United States joined us on this day they are belong to the medical research team and social work. Students were briefed on how the UN’s SDGs gives importance to good health, quality education, gender equality and clean water and sanitation.
