  Ph.D., is currently working as a Scientist (Forestry) at ICAR – Indian
  Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Research centre, Kota (Rajasthan).
  She was born in 1982. She completed Ph.D (Forestry) with rank of Topper
  (9.25/10.0) in her 2006 batch at Forest College and Research Institute
  (TNAU), Mettupalyam in Tamil Nadu. She has joined in ICAR as a ARS scientist
  in November, 2009. She has more than 10 year of experience in the field of
  natural resource management (NRM) for degraded land improvement and
  management of gullies /ravine land systems through agroforestry, forestry,
  plantation development towards environmental restoration. She got GOI-SERB
  international travel grant support in 2019. She has been selected and
  received young scientist fellowship to attend international climate change
  conference at ICISE, Quynhon, Vietnam. She has published more than 35
  research papers in reputed journals of national and international. Also,
  published more than 15 book chapters, one book and bulletin exclusively from
  her research findings and experiences in the field of forestry and
  agroforestry sciences. She have best poster (SCSI-2016) and best article
  award (AFM-2019) secured by her in different national forums. Recently,
  received an outstanding women scientist award in forestry science by Venus
  international foundation during 5<sup>th </sup>Annual Womens Meet - AWM 2020
  at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.</span></p>

about the community issues for their better livelihood in the presence of

life)-SRMIST on 21.07.2020 at Panchayat office Dr.T.Deepa, Associate
Professor-ECE department, SRMIST organised the session under the guidance of

farming, Vermicomposting, tailoring and wire bag making to improve their

of creating a web site naming as <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">“VIVASAYAM
KARKALAM”</b> which means let us learn agriculture. He started this in 2012 and
slowly group of people started to show their interest in this website and
now the numbers have increased to 20,000 members. He used to give ways and
means of agricultural technology in simple local language which created a great
impact among farming community. Through this web site he is able to reach
thousands of them every day very easily. They use to share their experiences,
problems and agriculture prospects and production of quality agricultural
produce and also export opportunities. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

requested by them. He has given speeches in farmers meetings, teacher’s
gatherings, fertilizer dealers about multifarious field technologies.  He
has owned terrace garden and give my experiences in radio about terrace
gardening for the benefit of urban publics making them also involved in
agriculture. He was invited by <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Podhigai
Television</b> and also honoured in <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">PUDIYADOR
