Objectives of the Event

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister.

To create awareness among school children about the importance of education.

To support rural students by providing basic educational and learning resources.

To strengthen the relationship between SRMIST and the adopted village through outreach and service.
Event Description
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, observed National Education Day at a Government Primary School. Faculty members, student volunteers, and UBA coordinators interacted with school children and motivated them to pursue their education with dedication.
Educational materials such as notebooks, stationery items, and water bottles were distributed to the students to encourage learning.
