<p></p><p>As part of the special edition of the <b>“Sundays on Cycle”</b>
campaign organized under the <b>Fit India Mission</b> with the theme <b>“Unnat
Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)”</b>, the <b>Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell,
SRM IST</b>, in association with the <b>Directorate of Sports</b>,
conducted a cycling rally on <b>14 June 2026</b>.</p>

<p>The event was flagged off by <b>Mr. Sameer Poorkar, Associate Director,
ITKM, MSL</b>. Students, faculty members, and staff actively participated
in the rally. The event promoted fitness, healthy living, and awareness about
the objectives of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.</p>

<p>The programme was conducted under the guidance of <b>Dr. Thirumuguran,
Associate Director, Campus Life</b>, and <b>Dr. Mohanakrishnan,
Director, Directorate of Sports</b>. On behalf of UBA, the programme was
organized by <b>Mr. N.S.Sridhar, Sanitary Inspector</b>, and <b>Dr.
S. Ramya, Associate Professor, LCS</b>, along with <b>Mr. Raju and
his team</b> from the Directorate of Sports, SRM IST.</p>

<p>The successful conduct of the event reflected SRM IST's continuous efforts
to promote health, fitness, and environmental consciousness among its students
and stakeholders. The programme was conducted successfully with enthusiastic
