The meeting honored local laborers and discussed improving employment security and working
conditions in honor of International Labour Day.
1. Health Services Review: Community members raised the need for regular health
camps, availability of essential medicines, and functioning of the local Primary Health
Centre (PHC).
2. Education Access and Quality: Emphasis on improving school infrastructure,
reducing dropout rates, ensuring adequate teachers, and promoting enrollment under
Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
3. Water Supply Issues: Villagers demanded restoration of non-functional borewells,
desilting of tanks, and equitable access to clean drinking water – Jal Jeevan Mission.
4. Sanitation and Hygiene: Focus on toilet usage, repairing broken sanitation units, and
improving solid waste disposal under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
5. Child Health and Nutrition: Strengthening of Anganwadi centres to ensure nutritional
meals, regular immunization, and health check-ups for children under six.
6. Maternity and Women’s Care: Requests for better antenatal care, transport support for
pregnant women, and awareness on maternity benefit schemes like PMMVY (Pradhan
Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana).
7. Income Generation Support: Promotion of skill development programs, SHG-based
microenterprises, and improved access to credit through government livelihood
schemes.
8. Infrastructure Development: Proposals for road repairs, new streetlights, and
upgrading village meeting spaces were accepted for planning and budget allocation.
9. Grievance Redressal and Transparency: Citizens shared complaints regarding
MGNREGS job delays, pension distribution, and ration card issues; officials assured
timely resolution and follow-up.
10. Creating educational opportunities for marginalized people with good academic records.
