Every Year on January 12th, Our country celebrates "National Youth Day" with a theme. The theme of 2023 is "Viksit Yuva-Viksit Bharat." This event is to commemorate the anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda, one of the greatest leaders of all time and he is the one who strongly believed in the Potential of Youth.  Vivekananda was adored by the people of the country and was considered one of India's greatest social leaders. National Youth Day celebrates Vivekananda’s achievements and honors his great philosophical and religious ideas.

Swami Vivekananda is a man of wisdom, and faith, a true philosopher whose teachings not only motivated youth but also paved the way for the development of the country, that is why 12 January is celebrated as a National Youth Day every year in India with joy and enthusiasm.

 SRMIST Unnat Bharat Abhiyan in association with Universal Human Values Cell takes immense pleasure in celebrating National Youth Day by hosting Panel Discussion on “Youth not deep rooted with our Culture and Customs”

 Discussion was presided by Dr.V.Thirumurugan , Associate Director (Campus Life), Nodal Officer UBA and Dr.P.Supraja, UHV University Coordinator. Our Students actively participated in the discussion and shared their views on current generation trends, lifestyle, moral values, ethics, food habits, urbanization, westernization, traditions, festivals and so on.
