The activities included dental screenings for various oral diseases. Many children in this area lack regular access to dental care, making early detection and preventive care crucial. Dental caries, being one of the most common chronic diseases in children, can lead to pain, infection, and affect overall health and development if left untreated. Similarly, early-stage gum diseases like gingivitis, if not addressed, can progress to more severe periodontal issues.
