World Earth Day Webinar 2021
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (UBA-SRM IST)
conducted online webinar – World Earth Day on 22 nd April 2021 at 11am. More than 100
SRM students/faculty and various participants of Participating Institutes, UBA, and Tamil
Nadu under UBA.
Dr. V. Thirumurugan, Associate Director, Campus Life, UBA Nodal Officer of SRM IST has
started the program and he has emphasized the importance of conducting online webinar for
world earth day
Dr. B.Samuel Jacob, Dept of Biotechnology SRM IST delivered the welcome address. During
the program he welcomed the speakers of the program. He introduced about speakers
Speaker Dr. Paromita, Associate professor, Dept of civil SRM IST has given speech about
Knowns and unknowns of pandemic: A cost effective technique for early signals The student
and faculty were actively participated and asked queries during the session.
Speaker Dr. R . Senthil, Associate Professor, Dept of Mechanical Engineering SRM IST has
given speech about Utilization of solar energy for sustainable development The student and
faculty were actively participated and asked queries during the session.
Ms. A.T.Ranjini, and Ms.P.Mohanasundari has coordinated the whole event with the support of UBA
Dr.Samuel Jacob, Assistant Professor Bio-Tech arranged for the distribution of e-certificates to
all the participants of this event.
