The department of EIE in association with
UBA cell and UHV cell jointly organized a Value education outreach on plastic recycling. The event was
organized to create an awareness among school children on reusing and reducing
plastic waste at home and society the event was attended by 200 children from
SP Koil Govt.HSS. The chief guest was Dr.D.Jaya kumar from All India Human
rights organization and Guest speaker was Dr.Jawahar from SRMIST
(Asst.Director/Hostels) delivered the lecture on ways of reducing plastic
waste. A quiz was conducted and gifts were distributed to the selected
students. Students took pledge on plastic free Bhogi celebrations
