Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan – SRMIST jointly organized wall painting competition @ Panchayat Union Middle School – Orathur
A Wall Painting Competition was conducted on 19.02.2021 for the students of Panchayat Union Middle School, Orathur.
A wall painting competition was held to explore the creative potentials in the young minds and explore the awareness of the pandemic of COVID 19.
Students of class 5th to 8th participated in the wall painting competition .The theme of the activity was swatch bharat, covid 19 awareness, The factors which affects the environment, save the resources and save trees.
The children showcased their talents and came up with amazing art work. Teachers felicitated the chief guests.
The chief guest Dr.N.D.Sundar, PTA President of PUMS, Orathur, Dr.NDSS.Subash, PTA President of PUPS, Neelamangalam, Dr.V.Thirumurugan, Associate director (CL), Nodal Officer – UBA, SRMIST, Dr.T.Deepa, Associate professor/ ECE, A.T.Ranjini, MPH, N.S.Sridhar,MBA – UBA team, and BRTE Mrs. VIjayalakshmi of Kundrathur Block encouraged the young artists to express themselves freely and declared the painting competition open to give away the prizes as cheques to prize winning .
