<p><b style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: medium;">       SRMIST Organizes Voter Awareness Rally to Promote 100% Participation</span></b></p><p style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: justify;"><em>Kattankulathur, April 2, 2026:</em><br /> In an effort to promote 100% voter participation in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), in collaboration with Maraimalai Nagar Municipality, organized a voter<b> awareness </b><strong>rally</strong> on April 2, 2026.</p><div style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: justify;"> </div><p style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: justify;">The rally was conducted under the joint initiative of<b> Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, NSS, NCC, Green Club, and the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA). </b>The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from <strong>over 900 students</strong>, covering a distance of <strong>4.5 km</strong>.</p><div style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: justify;"> </div><p style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: justify;">The rally was inaugurated by the<b> Municipal Commissioner, Mr. Narayanan</b>, along with <b>Dr. V. Thirumurugan, Associate Director – Campus Life</b> and Nodal Officer, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, SRMIST. Participants carried placards, raised impactful slogans, and performed street plays to create awareness among the public about the importance of voting.</p><div style="margin-left: 40px; text-align: justify;"> The programme was attended by <b>Mr. Sivamurugan, Sanitary Inspector;
