Palm Seeds Collection - Unnat Bharat Abhiyan-SRMIST on 28.08.2022 

Dear all,

Palm seed collection was held on today (Sunday 28-08-2022) on behalf of SRMIST -Unnat Bharat Abhiyan at Pathiri village in Olakkur panchayat of Villupuram District. It was attended by 85 people including teachers, students, maintenance staff and Bharathidasan Green Foundation members also participated. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan-SRMIST Nodal officer and Associate director (CL), SRMIST Dr. V. Thirumurugan, Event coordinator Mr.Pradeep,AP Civil were present on the occasion.

Everyone participated in the palm seed collection from this morning and collected twenty thousand palm seeds.

Breakfast, lunch and transportation were provided by the university to all who attended.

The collected palm seeds are to be sown on the banks of the lake in the village adopted by SRM University.
