Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) is a flagship program under Ministry of Human Resource Development
(MHRD), Govt. of India, with the aim of transforming rural India. Following the
UBA which primarily focuses Rural Health, SRM Institute of Science &
Technology (SRM IST) faculties has proposed many projects to make the rural
development among the one titled <b>“REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANTS FOR RURAL WATER
TREATMENT ” </b>proposal was submitted by Dr.T.Deepa , Associate professor/ECE
Department , SRMIST with her project team members Hariprasad. S, Research
Scholar/ECE, SRM IST, Maria Dominic Savio. M, Assistant Professor/ECE.  The total fund allocated for this proposal

SRM-UBA Project “REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANTS FOR RURAL WATER TREATMENT” was held on
14th NOV. 2019 at Panchayat Union Middle School , Orathur. </span></div>

waste thrown on the bunds of lake have been along with students and public to
improve the personal hygiene of local people and the awareness has been created
among people about plastic waste and the need of keeping environment clean.</span></p>

in association with ASCE SRM Student Chapter and Bharathidasan pasumai
arakattalai - 22.09.2019, Naduveeran pattu Village Lake. As a part of
environment protection and to improve the strength and stability of lake bunds
to store water and to recharge underground water the best method is planting
palm trees. In this regards more than 3000 palm seeds have been sown on the
bunds of lake. As well as this this was done on that day as a part of assist
